Buying Fabric by the Bolt

Some, but not all, of our fabrics can be ordered by the bolt. If you purchase a full bolt of fabric, you will receive a $1 per yard discount.

We are also able to order fabrics that we don't stock ourselves, if you're able to commit to buying the full bolt. In order to identify fabrics that we don't carry, we will need to know the manufacturer's name and the pattern and color numbers. We can't track the fabric down without those important numbers!

If we have a spare full bolt of fabric in stock, we will be happy to sell it to you at the full-bolt discount. If not, we can order another bolt for you, provided that the fabric is still in print.

How many yards are on a bolt? This is highly variable; some bolts have as little as 8 yards and some may have as much as 25. It is usually not possible to determine ahead of time exactly how many yards will be on a bolt, though we can give you a guess (which is pretty close most of the time though an occasional surprise does happen!) We can never be sure exactly how many yards we will get until we open the box.

How long does it take to come in? Depending on the manufacturer, it can take anywhere from two to ten weeks to arrive. Below are the "typical" delivery times:
